You saved me.
You’re the Redeemer, the Life Giver, the Grace Provider, the Great Physician, the Healer of Broken Hearts, Lover of my Wretched Soul.
You chose me despite my spite, because I’m broken, before I was born. And for that I praise you.
My sweet Father, you have considered me worthy to call upon to fulfill a work that I consider myself to be completely unqualified for: to make you famous.
You sent me to Clarkston. You sent me to Mozambique. You sent me to Kenya. And You are sending me to Honduras. You told me to go and You provided.
And when I return home, You ask me to do more.
From my tiniest, Dudsanee in Thailand, to Victor, the Kenyan boy, You created each one of these children to be the most marvelous masterpieces, bearing Your image. What breathtaking works You do, my God.
You placed each of them in my life to share Your name and Your truths, but oh sweet Jesus…
…through these children I have learned far more then I feel I could ever teach them.
You taught me that You are able by providing the resources to sponsor 13 children.
You taught me humility through learning about the lives of little children living in terrifying conditions.
You taught me a love that I have never known. A love for someone I never met. A love that knows no language, no distance, no cultural barrier, no poverty, no wealth, no difference nor similarities, a love that knows no end.
I praise You for that. I praise You for Your name, and I thank you for the Holy Burden You have placed on my heart to spread it. What an honor it is to be a vessel for Your glory.
My Bread, continue to teach me. Continue to humble me. Continue to heal me. Continue to guide me.
In Your Name,
